Blockchain has the potential to revolutionise everything from voting to supply chain and the way our medical records are managed. In this podcast, CEO Steve Pomfret talks about how we use the technology at Cygnetise and the benefits of decentralisation.

When asked about the main objections he receives on the use of blockchain, Steve explains how security remains the main concern (where is it hosted?, Is it secure?, Can anybody see our data?) and how these are generated  by an underlying fear and lack of understanding of the technology (in many ways, blockchains are more secure than a centralised system). “People need to be educated with a real, practical B2C use case of blockchain. Only then they will understand the immense benefits of the technology”.
