Keith Hale, former Multifonds CEO, appointed Director at Cygnetise

Cygnetise, who is leading the wave of live enterprise blockchain applications in financial services, announces the appointment of Keith Hale as a Director.

Keith brings with him a wealth of experience in creating and building successful fintech companies for the investment and security services markets. Keith was previously CEO of Multifonds, a market leader in investment fund software for the alternative and traditional fund industry, which he sold to Temenos, the world’s leader in banking software, for $265m in 2015. He then joined Temenos Executive Management Board. Prior to Multifonds, Keith co-founded Netik, the data management software provider, acquired by the Bank of New York in 2004.

As a Director, Keith will play a key role at Cygnetise by providing hands-on support and strategic advice to accelerate sales of the application and the continuous growth of the company.

Steve Pomfret, CEO of Cygnetise, said “Having someone who has mastered selling and implementing software into financial institutions as part of our board will accelerate the growth of Cygnetise. Keith comes with a huge reputation and is well-liked across the industry. We are honoured that he is now part of our organisation and is a testament to the progress we have already made with our enterprise blockchain solution.”

Keith added: “I’m delighted to join Cygnetise as a Director and advisor. Blockchain is often overhyped, but Cygnetise has identified and implemented a simple but extremely useful initial use case of managing authorised signature lists using DLT-based technology. I’m looking forward to helping Steve and his great team, roll out their solution and grow the business.”
